In the feature documentary The Lost Tomb of Jesus a case is made that the 2,000-year-old “Tomb of the Ten Ossuaries” belonged to the family of Jesus of Nazareth.
Is it possible that James Cameron and Simcha Jacobovici discovered the lost remains of Jesus and his family? The answer, like all others, is right in front of us:
John 20:27
Then He said to Thomas, “Reach here with your finger, and see My hands; and reach here your hand and put it into My side; and do not be unbelieving, but believing.”
-New American Bible
The Bible tells us that Thomas put his hand into the wounds that Jesus received during the crucification. Jesus was fully assumed into heaven upon his resurrection, body and spirit, so nobody will be discovering his remains anytime soon. The Blessed Mother Mary, is the only other person who was fully assumed into heaven. As for the rest of us, well we will be receiving a new glorious body from God when our purified souls enter heaven.
One Love.

“Excuse me, did you know that you have something on your forehead?”
That is how most Catholics are greated on Ash Wednesday and that is exactly what happened to my wife and I as we took a stroll through Kohls tonight. On Ash Wednesday Catholics are easily identified by the ash cross formed on our foreheads marking the start of the Lenten Season. Lent is a time that is most commonly associated with fasting in an effort to harmonize you spirit with Jesus. It is a time of preparation for Holy Week, which recalls the events preceding and during the crucifixion. At the end of Holy week, Easter Sunday, we celebrate the resurrection of Jesus!
This year will mark my first as a Catholic and I want to really challenge myself for lent. I have stuggled over the last year with my diet gaining nearly twenty pounds. Cliche as it may be I have decided to cut out all fast food, ice cream, and sodas. My diet will consist primarily of salads and fish (which is the traditional meal on fridays during lent when you are supposed to have no meat). I hope that I can flush out the toxins and get a healthy start to the new year.
I hope you find ways to strengthen your bond with Jesus this Lenten Season.
